Shanghai, China – Today, Philips, a global leader in health technology, will present its new products at the 91st China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF). This exhibition will fully demonstrate the deepening results of Philips’ localization strategy of “In China, for China”, and further demonstrate its determination to inject strong momentum into the cultivation of new quality productivity in China’s medical industry through three innovation dimensions: breakthroughs in artificial intelligence technology, implementation of inclusive technology, and sustainable development paths.
Philips debuts at the 91st China International Medical Devices Fair
Liu Ling, President of Philips Greater China, said: “Under the guidance of national strategies such as ‘new quality productivity’ and ‘AI+’, Philips is driven by integrated innovation and continues to deepen the ‘China Strategy’. At this CMEF, we focus on high-incidence diseases such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, tumors, and respiratory diseases, and launch integrated intelligent solutions covering equipment, systems, software and services around key departments such as radiological intervention and critical care, striving to respond to the actual needs of local customers from real scenarios. These achievements are not only derived from the continuous accumulation of Philips’ global innovation capabilities, but also benefit from the deep collaboration between the Chinese team and local ecological partners. We always believe that innovation should not stop at concepts, but should enter departments, reach patients, and be implemented. Innovation is in the heart, and care is shared by all. Philips is willing to use the most advanced technology and the most stable partners to cooperate with Chinese medical peers to make the ‘new quality’ land and bear fruit.”
Innovative technology leads medical reform and promotes new quality productivity
In response to the country’s strategic deployment to accelerate the development of new quality productivity, Philips uses innovation as an engine to not only achieve localization of the entire product line, including high-end products, but also leverage this CMEF to showcase localized innovation results to professional customers and how to continue to inject momentum into the development of new quality productivity:
In the field of image-guided therapy, Philips’ revolutionary innovative product, the Azurion Angiography System with Clarity IQ, was launched and exhibited in China. It uses a high-definition model with more than 500 optimized parameters and customizes the image style according to the doctor’s habits, which improves image quality while reducing radiation dose, allowing both doctors and patients to benefit from it.

Ultra-high-end digital PET/CT and multifunctional parameter CT will also be on display at the booth. Among them, PET/CT PoleStar Flight X is developed with “earlier, more accurate, and more convenient” as the starting point, and achieves early screening and accurate characterization of lesions through PET/CT multimodal technology + intelligent algorithm. As a representative of multi-parameter spectral CT, Philips’ new generation of multi-parameter functional CT, with the support of energy imaging, not only provides multi-parameter spectral imaging for radiological diagnosis, assists in early screening and accurate diagnosis of diseases; it can also provide positioning images and physical parameters for radiotherapy, optimize diagnosis and treatment efficiency through full-process energy application, and help medical institutions improve resource utilization and full-process cost control.

Innovation is people-oriented, accelerating the popularization of cutting-edge technology
Philips has a deep relationship with China. In the more than 100 years since entering China, it has adhered to the concept of “people-oriented” and deeply cultivated the needs of Chinese medical system and doctors and patients to launch localized innovative products.
At this CMEF, Philips launched the SleepAssure single-level positive pressure ventilation therapy machine, an innovative product in the field of home ventilators. Adhering to the concept of “the great way is simple”, it combines innovative technology with Philips’ century-old design experience, a minimalist design with a visual touch screen and integrated humidification, and advanced no-silencing cotton and original gas path structure, which effectively reduces equipment noise, is easy to use and easy to fall asleep, and brings patients a quiet and comfortable sleep experience.

Green innovation drives a smart and sustainable future
As a practitioner and leader in the field of global sustainable development, Philips has always insisted on conducting business in a responsible and sustainable manner, deeply integrating the concept of sustainable development into every aspect of product innovation and service optimization.
The BlueSeal 2.0 liquid helium-free dual-core magnetic resonance exhibited this time redefines the industry standard through liquid helium-free magnetic resonance technology. Its independently developed BlueSeal 2.0 magnet breaks through the traditional dependence on liquid helium, requiring only 0.5% of the helium consumption of traditional equipment, solving the global helium shortage and quench risk problems from the source. By the end of 2024, Philips’ liquid helium-free magnetic resonance has been installed in more than 1,700 units worldwide, saving more than 5 million liters of liquid helium, equivalent to reducing 32,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
